Interconnection Process Subcommittee
The Interconnection Planning Subcommittee (IPS) is a subcommittee established by the Planning Committee (PC). The purpose of the IPS is to provide a stakeholder forum to investigate and resolve specific issues related to the interconnection process and associated agreements, governing documents and manuals. The interconnection process includes generation interconnections, merchant transmission interconnections, upgrade requests, and those requests seeking long-term firm transmission service that are evaluated in the planning process.
